Danni instructs Hatha, Gentle & Restorative Yoga
Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga that focuses on asana (physical poses), pranayama (breath), and meditation to align the body and mind. Classes move slowly to moderately, allowing students to find a balance between strength and flexibility, resulting in increased awareness and relaxation.
Gentle yoga classes are typically appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported, and relaxing practice.
Restorative yoga is a practice that slows down and opens your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of 5 to 10 minutes for each position, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. This is a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body.
