Danni offers Reiki Infused Therapeutic Massage ~
15 - 30 minutes of Reiki (during a 90-minute session, 30 - 60 minutes for a 120-minute session) will begin the session to allow you to really relax deeply on the massage table. Then the therapeutic massage will begin and it incorporates a variety of advanced modalities that enhance the body’s natural restorative functioning. Light to firm touch is used to release tension, relax muscles, increase blood and lymph circulation, and impart a sense of calm. Reiki Infused Therapeutic Massage can be used as a collaborative, supportive addition to conventional medical treatment of illness and injury, alleviating pain and stress, aiding soft tissue healing, and revitalizing the body. Also, Reiki Infused Therapeutic Massage can enhance health, providing relaxation, the release of muscle tightness, relief from anxiety and tensions, and balancing aspects of body/mind/spirit. Therapeutic Massage Techniques
- Swedish Massage: Flowing, kneading, and passive joint movement techniques. Promotes the release of tensions and general relaxation. Stimulates nerve endings in the skin and connective tissue, increasing blood and lymph circulation.
- Deep Tissue Massage: Work done deep within the muscles and connective tissue. Slow strokes and deep finger pressure work to release contracted areas of muscles and surrounding tissue.
- Reflexology: Pressure point holds stimulate reflex channels. Effective for areas of tension or pain. Hands, feet, and ear pressure points are massaged to promote general well-being.
- Neuromuscular Massage: Advance massage techniques effectively treat chronic pain and injuries. Improves muscular and postural imbalances. Trigger point and myofascial therapies.
- Lymph Drainage Therapy: Light pressure facilitates the increased movement of lymph fluid. Complements treatment of auto-immune disorders, cancer treatments, surgery, and contributes to wellness through an improved immune response.
- Cupping Therapy: an ancient form of alternative medicine in which the therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being, and as a type of deep tissue massage.
Please come to any massage appointment as freshly clean as possible with no other lotions, sun protection, or bug spray on your skin.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
12-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give me 12 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration for me and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Inappropriate Behavior Policy
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in the immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full-service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited I may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat your therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.
